Jim Thompson is a mathematics teacher of 11-18 year olds in a comprehensive school in Hornsea, East Yorkshire. He serves as a deacon in Latimer Memorial Congregational Church in Beverley, where he has an active role in evangelism amongst adults in the community. Previous to his current job in teaching he was the pastor of Union Congregational Church in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, for seven years. Jim is married to Cilla and has four children.
